About

Who I am, and what I keep coming back to

Portrait of Lolézio Viora Marquet

Electronic and Information Engineering graduate from Imperial College London, First Class. My master's thesis is on neuro-symbolic learning under multi-modal data: getting models to reason over the right concepts instead of exploiting shortcuts.

Most of my work sits in the gap between a model that works in a notebook and a system that works in production. That has meant a live trading system running 24/7, Triton kernels that beat PyTorch's own compiler on some models, and a render loop hand-optimised to fit in 64 kB of RAM.

I'm a Software Development Engineer on Amazon Prime Video, where AI coding agents are my default workflow: I build the harnesses that write and review my team's code changes. Next, I'm looking at roles where research and systems engineering meet.
